During 2022, SARUA focused on reconceptualising its role, thus laying the foundation upon which the Association will leverage The Power of the Network to achieve its overarching goal:

SARUA seeks to be a regionally representative and dynamic membership organization, reflecting and serving the needs of all higher education institutions (public and private) in the SADC, through our strategic priority areas, and actions linked to policy advocacy; collective sensemaking; knowledge co-production; communities of practice and impactful capacity development.

Our annual programme for 2023 outlines how we intend to fulfill these commitments to the members of our network, and other constituencies within the SADC.
